alana davis and dc tommorow

alana davis came to greensboro sat night and played at club solaris. she did an all acoustic show...finally music! in greensboring. lucky me, I got to talk to her before the show and I couldn't believe how warm and friendly she was. I am headed up to dc for the rest of the week. Savion Glover is dancing thursday night and they'll be jam cellar and k2 on tues and wed. I can't wait to be in DC!

If I hadn't mentioned it to you all I am a sickgirl full time now. I wake up eack morining with some sort of ailment and complain a min. of one time every hour. One of my biggest responsibilities is to take lots of otc drugs and I worry about what I can't get done A LOT. I feel like i have gotten really good at what I do and think I am due for a pay increase. I think I will ask my boss for one tommorow.

Flu outbreak to kill 150 million 'at any time'

A LEADING United Nations official has warned there could be a new flu outbreak at any time which could kill up to 150 million people.
Dr David Nabarro said the pandemic was likely to be caused by a mutation of the virus that is causing bird flu in Asia, and has already killed 60 people.
"The range of deaths from a flu outbreak could be anything between five million and 150 million," he said.
